Help

Customers

Seeing everything about one customer in TradeCatch, adding or editing a customer, and why a customer can show up twice.

These are the same answers TradeCatch customers see in the app. Where one says “open Help” or names a page, that’s inside TradeCatch once you’ve signed in. Sign in →

Where can I see everything about one customer?

Open Customers and tap their name. Their page shows their details, notes, and everything across your tools — calls, quotes, bookings and reviews — in one list.

How do I add or edit a customer?

Tap "Add customer" to add one. To change someone's details, open them and tap Edit.

To bring in a list, tap "Import from CSV". It reads names, emails and phone numbers. Anyone already in your list is skipped.

Catch adds customers for you too, whenever someone calls, gets a quote, books or leaves a review.

Why has one customer turned up twice, or been merged?

TradeCatch keeps one customer per phone number and per email address. So a call from a number we already know goes onto that customer. Two people who share a phone will show as one customer.

The same person can show twice if they used a different number or email. You can't merge two customers yet. Archive the one you don't need.
