TradeCatch is a product of Coastline Automation Ltd (“Coastline Automation”, “we”, “us”, “our”), a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17046438), registered office at 11 Ashdown Ave, Saltdean, BN2 8AH. We are registered with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) under registration number C1902158.
For the purposes of UK data protection law, Coastline Automation Ltd is the data controller of the personal data described in this policy, except where we act as a processor on behalf of our business customers (see Section 9).
This policy explains what personal data we collect through the TradeCatch platform and its products (including RingCatch, ReviewCatch, QuoteCatch and BookCatch), how we use it, and the rights you have. If you have any questions, contact us at richard@coastlineautomation.co.uk.
Account and profile data. Your name, business name, email address, phone number, and the details you enter when setting up your account and your AI agents.
Booking and customer data. When you use BookCatch and the wider platform, we process information about your jobs and your own customers — names, contact details, addresses, job descriptions and appointment times — so that we can deliver the service to you. This data belongs to your business; we process it on your behalf (see Section 9).
Call and message data. Where you use RingCatch, we process call records, transcripts, and the structured lead details captured from calls, together with the SMS/email summaries we deliver to you.
Google Calendar data. If you connect your Google Calendar, we access certain Google data as described in Section 3 below.
Usage and technical data. Log data, device and browser information, and basic analytics needed to operate and secure the service.
Billing data. Where you pay for the service, our payment processor (Stripe) handles your card details; we do not store full card numbers.
This section describes how TradeCatch accesses, uses, stores and shares data from Google APIs when you choose to connect your Google Calendar to BookCatch.
Scope requested. When you connect Google Calendar, we request a single permission:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events — to view and manage events on your calendar. What we access and how we use it.
What we do not do with your Google Calendar data. We do not display, copy, or repurpose the content of your other calendar events (such as titles, descriptions, locations, attendees or notes). We do not store that event content — to manage availability we retain only the busy/free time windows (start and end times) needed to prevent double-booking. We never use your Google data to serve advertising, and we do not use it to develop, improve or train any generalised or non-personalised AI or machine-learning models. We do not sell your Google data, and we do not share it except as needed to provide this feature to you (see Section 9).
Google API Services Limited Use disclosure. TradeCatch's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Storage and security of Google data. Your Google access and refresh tokens are stored encrypted in a dedicated secrets vault and are accessible only to the service processes that operate the calendar integration. They are never exposed to other customers or to our marketing systems.
Disconnecting. You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time from within TradeCatch, which revokes our access and deletes the stored tokens. You can also review and revoke access directly in your Google Account at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.
We use personal data to: provide and operate the platform and its features; set up, run and improve your AI agents and bookings; deliver leads, summaries, reminders and notifications; provide customer support; take payment; keep the service secure; and comply with our legal obligations.
We rely on: performance of a contract (to provide the service you have signed up for); legitimate interests (to operate, secure and improve the platform, balanced against your rights); consent (where you connect optional integrations such as Google Calendar, and for certain marketing communications); and legal obligation (for example, accounting and tax records).
We keep personal data only for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet our legal and accounting obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised. Google Calendar tokens are deleted when you disconnect the integration or close your account.
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct, delete or port your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact richard@coastlineautomation.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk, though we would appreciate the chance to address your concern first.
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encryption of credentials, access controls, and row-level isolation between customers. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and to notify you and the relevant authorities of any breach as required by law.
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf to run the platform, under contract and only as instructed. These include: Supabase (database and authentication, hosted in the EU), Google (calendar integration), Twilio (telephony and SMS), Resend (email delivery), Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting), and Retell AI (voice agents).
Where you use TradeCatch to process information about your own customers, you are the data controller of that information and we act as your processor, handling it only to provide the service to you. Our processing of that data is governed by our Terms of Service and applicable data-processing terms.
Where data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement / Addendum) to protect it.
TradeCatch is a business tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and change the “Last updated” date. Material changes will be notified to you where appropriate.
