Fig. 1 · Hands full. Who's answering?

The jobs you never hear about.

You're good at the job. It's everything around it that leaks, because you can't be in someone's loft and in the office at once.

  • CallsYou’re up in a loft, or it’s half seven and their power’s gone. Emergency callers don’t leave voicemails. They ring the next name on Google.Caught
  • QuotesYou said you’d price the consumer unit upgrade tonight. It’s still on a scrap of paper in the van.Quoted
  • BookingsThey said yes to the EV charger. Now it’s three days of texts to find a day you can both do.Booked
  • ReviewsTwenty happy customers this month. Nobody asked them to say so.Asked
  • MarketingTheir EICR comes due. They’ll book whoever reminds them first.Reminded

None of this is a work-harder problem. It's a nobody's-in-the-office problem, and right now the office is you, at 9pm.

How it works

Hear it work.

The big electrical firms have always had someone on the phones. Now you have something the sparky down the road doesn't.

Catch runs your office. Your customers meet it as your AI receptionist, answering in your business's name.

Your customerYour receptionist

Your AI receptionist answers.

In your business’s name, day and night. It takes the job, flags the emergencies and texts you the details.

Your receptionistYour customer

It rings them back, too.

Missed callers, quotes gone quiet, tomorrow’s jobs. Always as your business. Most AI receptionists only answer.

YouCatch

Your daily rundown.

Ring Catch from the van on the way to the first job. Today’s calls, quotes and jobs, read out to you.

Not generic AI

It knows an EICR from a consumer unit swap.

TradeCatch sets itself up for electricians. Your receptionist takes its first call already speaking the trade. Nothing to teach it.

Flags these straight to you

  • No power
  • Tripping fuse
  • Sparking
  • Burning smell

What it does

An electrician’s day with Catch.

Five tools, one office manager, from the first job to the last. The names on the cards are made up; what each card does is what TradeCatch does.

  1. 07:10In the van

    Catch reads you your day.

Ring Catch on speaker before the first job. It tells you what needs you before you’ve turned the key.

CatchMorning.Claire’s kitchen sockets are urgent, Tom said yes to his EV charger, and you’ve two jobs tomorrow.
  2. 10:42Up in a loft

Every call answered, sent to your phone.

Your receptionist takes the call and WhatsApps you the details. Emergencies first. No app to open.

  3. 13:15Between jobs

The quote’s drafted from the call.

Check it, send it. It chases if they go quiet. When they say yes, one tap books them in and the invoice lands in Xero.

More five-star reviews, and the EICRs come back.

Finished jobs get a Google review request. Homeowners due an EICR get a reminder in your name.

How long does setup take?

About 10 minutes for your calls. TradeCatch sets itself up for electricians from your answers. You keep your number and forward the calls you miss. As one of the first 25, you have my number if you get stuck.

What happens after the 60 days?

It’s £79 a month, locked for life, on the card you gave at sign-up. Nothing is taken during the 60 days.

Does it know Part P and EICRs?

Yes. It’s set up for UK electrical work: BS 7671 and Part P, NICEIC and NAPIT, EICs, minor works certificates and EICRs. Quotes are drafted with the testing and certification on them, and you check every one before it goes.

What does it treat as an emergency?

No power, a tripping fuse, sparking, a burning smell, flickering lights or a power cut. Those calls are flagged urgent and sent straight to you, day or night.

How is this different from an answering service?

An answering service takes a message. Catch takes the job: it sends you the details, drafts the quote, books the yes, asks for the review and reminds them when their EICR’s due.
